Director's Vision ( Stage Pictures)
1. What was your vision as a director/creator for this project?
My vision for this project is to be able to adapt The Story of an Hour to my own story and create something new. I want to be able to bring what I create to life and let people feel what's going on when watching it.
2. What elements of the original story did you maintain in your project?
I maintain the surprise at the end of the story when she found out that her husband is still alive.
3. What did you change about the original story in your project?
I change the names of the characters, and included less drama in it.
4. What is the twist or climax of your adaptation?
The twist of my adaptation is Emmanuel planing a way to end the relationship between Micheal and his girlfriend and the climax is Micheal breaking up with his girlfriend and fighting Emmanuel.
5. What is the strongest part of your project so far?
The story line, and the climax of it.
6. What is the weakest part of your project so far?
I would say the beginning of it and being able to put that type of story in a stage pictures
7. How has this project helped you learn about how stories work?
This project helped me to be able to write my own story and learned how to adapt other stories.
8. How has this project helped you learn how theater works?
It helped me learn how theater adapt other stories to make it their own.
