Act 2 Scene 2 and 3

George tries to kiss Beneatha’s, but she moves away. George gives Beneatha compliments about her looks and starts to kiss her, but she rebuffs him again, and he jumps up. Both George and Beneatha argued about why we go to school and read books Beneatha told Mama George is a fool, and mama told her not to waste her time with fools.  Beneatha, then Thanks Mama for understanding her this time. Mrs. Johnson then knocked on their door and; asked Ruth if she was starting to poke out none yet. Mrs. Johnson told them some colored people were bombed out of their own place by some White folks. Mrs.Johnson said Beneatha sometimes acts like she doesn’t want to talk to anyone and mama told her its because she’s going to the bathroom. Mama told Beneatha that she was rude to Ms.Johnson and told Ruth not to talk behind people’s back. Scene 2 Act 1

Ruth was ironing and then Beneatha’s door opened with her wearing the robed Asagai brought her from Nigeria.  Beneatha started listening to Nigerian song She starts doing a Nigerian folks dance “ dance of welcome.  Walter walked in on them and has been drinking. Walter walked closer to Ruth and told her he’s a warrior and Ruth said you are much drunkard  Walter goes on and starting doing his own unknown mood. George walks in on them Ruth was embraced for the family and told Walter to step down and stop acting like a fool George came to talk Beneatha to the theater but she’s not ready and Ruth and Beneatha started arguing about her hair. Scene 2

It was a Saturday morning and the family is cleaning the house. Walter get a phone call from his friend Willie Harris who’s trying to help me get the liquor store started. Mama told Beneath to watch what she’s doing before spilling whatever she’s using to hurt the roaches on Travis. Ruth went to the doctors but Mama and Beneatha thinks she might be pregnant.  Beneatha gets a phone call from a friends who’s Nigerian and have been studying in Canada for the whole summer.  She invited her to the house but Mama was concerned because the house wasn’t clean. Beneatha told Mama not to ask his friend ignorant questions about Africa. Ruth is two months pregnant now Beneatha asked Ruth if it was an accident or she planned it to happened. Beneatha thinks her hair looks bad she’s worried about it but Asagai keeps making fun of her because he knows how serious she gets about things like that Asagai brought the robes all the way from Nigeria and told Beneatha that for her he woul...

* My dream for the next five years is to get into a good college, graduate and get a good job * A bigger dream will be have the job I always wanted and buy a huge house for my family. * My reaction will be worried and not being able to move on * I think I would like Walter lee because he wants to open up a liquor store that will make money to feed his family. * I think if I was born into this family my daily life will be working and trying to find a better place for my family.

A Raisin in the Sun Title

Characters : Travis - Son Lena - Walter's Mom Beneatha - Walter's Lee Sister Walter Lee - Father Ruth - Mother The main character is having a lot of bad dreams. He wants to be able to add more things to his dream to be more successful The tone of the first chapter is sad and depressed. Based on the first chapter of the book, you could see that the family aren't wealthy and they're living was hard. They were all living in the same house that wasn't big enough to host all those people. Walter and Beneatha's dad has passed away and their waiting for a 10 thousands dollars insurance check. Beneatha wanted to use the money to get a new house but Walter wanted to use it to open a liquor store.

Group 1 . What has this group done well? The group did well with their blocking movements. They had great props. ent 2. What, if anything, is confusing about this scene? I'm confused about the ending, and I think they could have speak out a little clear  3. Describe the emotion of the characters/plot. One of the character was scared but couldn't tell the emotion for the second character. 4. Describe the relationship between the characters. I don't think they had a great chemistry together. 5. What else could this group have done to improve? They could improve on their chemistry, speak more clearly and have an understanding ending. Group 2 . What has this group done well?
